Chop life means to live life to the fullest in pursuit of your goals and ambitions. Tokyo Yaw's studio album, Chop Life, embodies this theme masterfully, while incorporating a fusion of afrobeats, amapiano, and afro-pop to express themes of self-discovery, growth, love, and happiness. Contextualized in his perceptions of the world around him, this experience delivers live vocals accompanied by a band and backing tracks, immersing audience members in the sounds of Kumasi, Ghana.

Nervous, medium-pretty NYC theatre It Girl Meg Spectre spins a musical comedy yarn about the time she got an abortion. Her act is Andy-Kaufman-meets-Weird-Al-meets-some-less-important-but-probably-hotter-comedians. Expect endearing cringe, prop comedy, musical numbers, naive topical schmear, a time-traveling telephone, and good old-fashioned razzle dazzle! In lieu of flowers, please send Vitamin B-12!

The Incredible Creation

Pitch: The Incredible Creation! Think East Baltimore meets Afrofuturism

Show Description: Think East Baltimore meets afrofuturism meets hip-hop, where local bodypainters and airbrush artists turn attendees into living canvases. Guests can choose to be painted or just watch as models are transformed into walking arts. Let’s not forget a rotating line up of live performances and energetic DJ sets. We’ll have local artists sell art, airbrushed shirts, and handmade jewelry! An incredibly creative experience. We’ll also include a paint it forward, wall- an open canvas where anyone can contribute their own message or doodle.

There is a temporary drop off spot in the “no parking” zone directly in front of the Holiday St. entrance, and multiple public paid parking lots within a two block radius of (as well as street parking). There are four access parking spots on the 200 block of Holiday Street.
